To promote, encourage and develop every player's skill level in order for them to play at a level of competitive hockey to which they are of calibre while teaching them the concepts of sportsmanship, respect and good fellowship in an environment that is safe, leading to physical, mental and social growth.

INTRODUCING MAJOR NOVICE REP B FOR THE 2012 - 2013 SEASON
The River Rats are very pleased to be icing a Major Novice Rep B team for this coming season ( 2004 players ). The River Rats Committee will also be looking for coaching candidates. Coaching application can be found on our website.
It is important to note that your Player does not have to play Competitive Hockey, but it could be an option for some players who are interested and capable of playing at that level.
More information will be coming, although be tentatively prepared for late August tryout sessions.
Starting next season ( 2012 – 2013 ) all River Rats players will be required to wear
black helmets, predominantly black gloves and black hockey pants ( or a black shell ).
This mandate is to create uniformity across our 8 Rep B teams and also with the Ranger
Program when our players are affiliated to their teams.
MAJOR PEEWEE AAA 2012 - 2013
The Upper Canada Cyclones are pleased to announce the introduction of Major Peewee AAA for the 2012-13 season. Minor Council has passed a resolution to adopt Major Peewee AAA as a 5 team league run through the OEMHL AAA league.
UCC executives are diligently working on the details and preparing for this level. We have acquired ice for a spring Conditioning camp
and spring evaluation camp, in Spencerville through April. These dates and times will be posted on the website registration system soon.
We are accepting applications for coaches and hope to make a coach decision by the end of the month.
We are working on securing ice for the season and are optimistic this will work out. As you can imagine,
there is a lot to do in a short period of time. Keep checking back here (UCC website) for updates and more information.
For now, if you have a child who will be of Major Peewee age, please prepare for Spring evaluations in April.
